LIST OF TERMS USED IN THE DESCRIPTION
PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
ArtElektro processes (collects, registers, enters, stores, systematizes, uses, transfers, deletes, etc.) personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law and other applicable laws and regulations in the Republic of Latvia.
In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, the manager of the personal data processing system, ArtElektro, adheres to the following principles:
- ArtElektro ensures that the data is processed fairly and lawfully.
- The processing of the received data serves specific purposes and is carried out only in accordance with these purposes.
- The received data is adequate (not excessive).
- The received data is accurate.
- The received data is not stored longer than the required period and is destroyed upon reaching the specified purpose.
- ArtElektro processes the received data in accordance with the rights of individuals.
- ArtElektro ensures that the received data is stored securely.
- ArtElektro does not provide the data it receives to other organisations or abroad without secure, adequate protection within the framework of regulations and the Personal Data Protection Act (Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data No. 2016/679).
CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA FOR PROCESSING
The categories of personal data of the client for processing depend on the services and products used by the client. ArtElektro has the right to process the following categories of personal data and data on the use of services and products:
Data obtained with the consent of the client (which the client himself provided).
- Name, surname, personal code or date of birth;
- Correspondence address, telephone number, e-mail address;
- Bank data;
- Communication data. Information from letters e-mail address related to communication between the client and ArtElektro;
- Cookies, data on visiting the home page of ArtElektro;
- If the client does not want to allow the use of cookies, he can prohibit it in his browser, but in this case some of the site's features may be limited;
- Data, time, volume of views on Internet sites;
GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
PURPOSES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
- To conclude and fulfill contractual obligations with the client.
- To assess the client's ability to fulfill contractual obligations.
- To effectively manage cash flows, to control payments and client debts.
- To provide technical support related to the provision of services.
- To develop areas, to provide a new range of services.
- To conduct statistical data processing, to analyze the market.
METHODS OF OBTAINING PERSONAL DATA
The customer provides ArtElektro with their data when the customer:
- Subscribes to ArtElektro news;
- Orders, uses ArtElektro products and services;
- Agrees to participate in contests, lotteries, surveys;
- Visits or views the ArtElektro website;
- The customer is filmed by CCTV cameras.
ArtElektro and its authorized persons, within the framework of the Law on the Protection of Individuals' Data (Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data No. 2016/679), have the right to process the personal data of the customer, which were received from a third party (e.g. a credit company), if the customer has given their consent to this.

Storage period of personal data
ArtElektro has the right to store the client's personal data:
- Until the client has withdrawn their consent to the processing of personal data;
- The period required to implement and protect the legitimate interests of ArtElektro;
- According to the storage period of personal data, which is determined by regulatory acts and regulations on the Protection of Personal Data;
- While the client is in a contractual relationship with ArtElektro;
- Until the purpose of using the data, which is determined upon their receipt, is achieved.
Sharing of personal data
- ArtElektro provides the client's personal data to the extent necessary and sufficient, in accordance with the requirements of regulatory enactments, also taking into account the objective reasons for a specific situation;
- If it is necessary to provide the client's personal data to ArtElektro and its authorized persons, within the framework of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data of Individuals (Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data No. 2016/679) and / or partners, agents, service providers who are associated with the order, use of products and provision of services in order to improve the quality of service;
- ArtElektro is obliged to provide information about the client's personal data to law enforcement agencies, state and municipal authorities, if this is regulated by regulatory enactments or a request is received from the relevant institution;
Methods of protecting personal data
- In order to improve the methods of protecting the client's personal data from unauthorized access, loss, destruction, disclosure, ArtElektro uses modern technologies, complies with technical and organizational requirements;
- ArtElektro carries out a thorough check of authorized persons, partners, agents, service providers, employees of the company who process the client's personal data, and also evaluates the relevant measures to ensure the security of the processing and storage of the client's personal data in accordance with the requirements of regulatory acts;
- ArtElektro is not responsible for unauthorized access, loss of the client's personal data, if this occurred due to reasons beyond the control of ArtElektro (for example, due to the fault or negligence of the client).
Client rights
- The client has the right to refuse to receive commercial offers, profiling of their personal data at any time;
- Withdrawal of consent, changes do not affect the legality of the processing of personal data and / or the quality of the services received that related to the consent before its cancellation;
- The client has the right to correct (by making changes) all available personal data about themselves;
- The client has the right to request the deletion or restriction of their personal data ("Right to be forgotten"), provide an application with a request;
- The client has the right to receive information about those persons who were provided with information about his (the client's) personal data;
- The client has the right to transfer personal data, i.e. transfer their personal data to another processor. These rights include only those data that the client provided based on their voluntary consent or agreement, or if automatic processing occurs. To exercise the above rights, it is necessary to provide an application with a request.
